Glamour Boys is a collage series that addresses the male gaze within the medium of photography. The work specifically criticizes “glamour photography,” a photographic genre which often serves as an excuse for men to take objectifying, borderline pornographic images of women under the guise of fine art. Imagery and captions are arranged into compositions using material found in vintage photography magazines, as well as instructional glamour photography books.
