2 years ago today, I married Katie Baer, my super smart/sexy/awesome wife. I brought my little Pentax Auto 110 camera along to the rehearsal and the wedding. I don't know why I never posted the resulting photographs, but here they are now!

Lost Negatives: New Orleans East Hotel

Here are two photographs I made while exploring an abandoned hotel in eastern New Orleans. I was only able to make these two photographs before I came across a large naked man laying on one of the hotel beds, and had to run for my life. I used my Mamiya C330 with an 80mm lens and Kodak T-Max 400 film.

Roll: Nursing Home

A few days ago I went back to the Touro Shakespeare Home, an old abandoned nursing home in New Orleans. This time I brought along a friend, as well as my Pentax LX and 50mm f/1.4 lens. I used high-speed Ilford Delta 3200 film so I would be able to make hand-held exposures. I feel the resulting pronounced grain compliments the dilapidated subject matter nicely.
