Sneak Peak!

The past few weeks I have been working on a rather large project, one that has pushed my school's computers (as well as my sanity) to the very limit. Using my half-frame Olympus Pen FT camera, I documented 5 days of my life on 5 rolls of film. Each day, I set a timer to go off every 20 minutes, and photographed whatever I was looking at when the timer went off. I did this 24 hours a day, for 5 days straight. Each day added up to 73 photographs that I will display in a row (midnight to midnight), representing the entirety of that 24 hour period. I plan to make every individual picture 7"x5" with a 1 inch border and a half inch between each picture, so each of these 5 finished pieces will measure in at 9"x 403"!

These files are massive at just under one gig apiece, and I am having difficulty converting them to small enough files for me to upload to the internet. Until I figure that out, here is a photograph of a small sheet I made of all five days put together. I'm digging how these look all lined up.

More to come soon!
